From north
From Munich and Rosenheim by the Inntal (Inn valley) highway A12 (toll charge) to Kufstein and Innsbruck. From
there by Brennero highway A13 (toll charge) to the Brennero mountain pass, on the italian side continue on the
A22 (toll charge). For Val Pusteria: Exit Bressanone/Varna and continue on the Val Pusteria main road SS49.
Otherwise continue towards Bozen/Bolzano (exit Bolzanon Nord). To continue to southern South Tyrol: exit Bolzano Sud
or Egna. To continue to Merano: Exit Bolzano Sud and use the express way MeBo to Merano.
From west
From Ulm and Kempten (D) via Füssen/Garmisch and the Fernpass main road 117 you will come to Imst and Landeck
and continue on highway A12 to the Resia mountain pass. From Bregenz (A) you'll reach the Resia mountain pass by
Arlberg highway A14/S16.
From the Resia mountain pass use the main road SS40 and SS38 through Val Venosta towards Merano where you can
enter the express way MeBo towards Bolzano.
From France and Switzerland you will reach South Tyrol by Rhine valley highway A13 and - during summer - by
national road 28 from Landquart through the Prätigau or Thusis/Tiefencastel by the Albularoad to Davos
and from there by Flüela road to Susch in the Engadin. During winter we recommend using to motorail of the
"Rhätische" railways which takes you through the 19 km long Vereina tunnel from Klosters to Susch.
Via Ofen mountain pass (open all year long), the swiss national parc and the Münster valley, you will reach
Malles in Val Venosta. From there take the main road SS40 and SS38 towards Merano, where you can enter the
express way MeBo towards Bolzano.
From east
From Lienz in Osttirol (East Tyrol) (A) use the Drautal main road B100 and E66 through the Val Pusteria to
Bressanone/Varna where you enter the highway A22. From there continue toward Bolzano (exit Bolzano nord).
From south
From Verona or Trento by Brennero highway A22 to exit Egna (southern South Tyrol) or Bolzano Sud. Towards Merano: exit
Bolzano Sud and enter the express way MeBo towards Merano. To continue into Val Pusteria: Exit Bressanone/Varna and
use the main road SS49.
