Among the Anterivo sights are the parish churches of St Catherine and St. Jacob, the newly built lime kilns in Anterivo and Trodena (Truden), the Brechel stove in Anterivo (for roasting flax) as well as the prehistoric settlement of Postal ("Burgstall") in Anterivo. An interesting excursion is to the Monte Corno Natural Park visitors' centre, which is housed in the buildings of an old electric mill. You can observe the typical limestone and porphyry vegetation outside the Visitors' Centre. Nearby you will find an amphibians' pond, a small cornfield and an herb garden. Inside there is plenty of information about the natural environment, cultivation landscape as well about the cultural history of the region, and the most varied of hiking facilities.
